PROSPERITY; JEFFREY STEWART

I asked the Lord what He thought about prosperity and He showed me the example of Obed Edom. David left the Ark of the Covenant there, and Obed Edom's househol...d prospered. Believers are greater than any Ark of the Covenant, His Presence lives in each of us. So its His Will to prosper us and bless us. However, man has perverted that in two ways. God says to turn neither to the LEFT nor the RIGHT. Man has either made prosperity his goal in life, which is wrong, because we are to seek first the Kingdom of God, or man has taught that prosperity is wrong, which is also not of God. Heaven is a very prosperous place, so we know its His Will, and it TAKES money to share the Gospel. So if the enemy can get believers to think prosperity is wrong, he can effectively hinder the sharing of the Gospel. We get into trouble when we see prosperity through man's eyes, and think about it as man thinks. He wants us to see prosperity through HIS eyes, and think about it how HE thinks about it.
